Supervision and Project Management for Beijing Intelligent Transport – Air Pollution Control Project – Italian Government Grant

For solving transportation pollution problem (vehicle emission) in Beijing, the Italian government granted 8.5 million Euro to establish an intelligent transportation system – transportation air pollution monitoring system in Beijing, which includes 22 intelligent transportation monitoring stations, 6 air pollution monitoring stations, a public transportation control system, and related data and control centers.

HJI Group was selected by the Beijing EPB to provide consulting services during the 2 year project implementation period which includes project management; supervision of civil construction and equipment installation; comparison of benefits between prior and after the project implementation; and bidding document preparation; etc.

HJI Group experts conduct air quality model testing including inventory check, parameter selections, plus taking health factors and economic cost into account. HJI Group experts also organized workshops and seminars on equipment calibration and maintenance as well as data interpretations for effective air quality databases.
